Answer : The drivers installs the USB232 and USB485 as virtual comports, and then they are available just like other comports in your PC |

Question : How do I switch the 2 wire, half duplex USB485-STISO between Rx and Tx mode? |
Answer : You don't! It's default in Rx mode, and when you write to it, it changes to Tx mode, and automatic switch back to Rx mode after everything is transmitted |

Answer : The specification says 120 Ohm in each end, but in most cases it works fine without. |

Answer : Well, any terminal program goes, since it's just to access the comports, so the good old hyperterminal included in the older windows
is fine, and more experienced could use Realterm download from sourceforge |
